I'm just trying to figure out how this works with the player marker as it appears in BE on Xbone, which is (for me, at least) different than the pictured marker. I would've rather the X was finer and the player marker more exact, but better still would've been a general vicinity X plus a number of blocks away from a nearby tree or other plausible landmark. I got marginally better at it, but sometimes I couldn't find the thing despite taking the land mass down to New Orleans during Katrina levels.
I tried to figure a reliable method throuh testing in creative, to no avail. On console (Xbone), my player icon is more like a square with a triangle on top, and it covers the X, so I don't think this will work for us, but I appreciate the tip.
